Help Refugees Return Home is a KAID initiative to support communities that are re-establishing their lives after fleeing war and violence. HRRH targets areas in Syria and Iraq that were destroyed by Da’esh occupation. HRRH provides basic needs to community members as they return home. Under this program, KAID organizes fundraising campaigns to renovate schools, parks, and water projects. The primary goal is to provide capacity building training and assistance in Syria and Iraq to local authorities who run individuals’ daily affairs. The training topics include governance, public relations, human rights, women rights, and the rule of law. KAID utilizes its network of trainers and consultants, who have years of experience in the Middle East.
The project will begin with a school in Kobani- a place where children can once again receive the education they deserve.
The objective is to help the local community renovate a school which is significantly damaged and has about five hundred students. First, we will work to renovate the school, which must restore its bathrooms, park, and cafeteria. According to the local authority in Kobani, $20,000 is required in order to renovate the school. We hope you can contribute and become a part of this humanitarian mission.
The second campaign is to purchase and distribute winter jackets for students. This will cost approximately $5,000. We hope you can make a contribution so that we can meet our goal. Help Kobani, help humanity.
